Terms
Plain version. A lawyer-reviewed version will land before paid access opens. We don't hide changes in the legal-reviewed copy.
What this is
Family Agreements is a tool to help your household author and live with agreements about technology. We provide structure for a real conversation. We do not tell you what your agreement should say. We do not coach. We do not arbitrate. The agreement is yours.
What we ask of you
Be honest with your household. Use the product for your own household, not as a template factory for outside parties. Don't try to reverse-engineer our backend or use the product to abuse other people's households. If you find a security issue, write to security@agree.johnnatoli.me first; we'll work it with you.
What we don't promise
We don't promise that the product will fix anything. The work is yours and the people you're doing it with. We don't promise uptime — we run a single small server, and we will tell you when it's down. We don't promise that anything you write here is therapy, legal advice, or a substitute for either.
If we get this wrong
If we lose your data, we'll tell you within 72 hours of confirming the loss. If we change something that meaningfully affects what the product does or how it does it, we'll tell you in-product and by email, with a window for you to read it before it takes effect.
If you're done
You can delete your account at any time. Your rows go with it. We don't keep a shadow copy. We don't email you to come back.
